Founding Partners

Tim Mullen

Tim Mullen is a seasoned oil and gas operator with over two decades of experience leading multi-discipline teams and delivering complex, high-stakes projects ahead of schedule and under budget. His prior experience includes Vice President of Operations at Silverback Exploration, and Vice President of Operations at Chief Oil & Gas, the largest privately-owned natural gas producer in the United States. Prior to these executive roles, Tim served as Production and Facilities Manager at Newfield Exploration, Drilling Engineer at EOG Resources, and Production & Facilities Engineer at Anadarko Petroleum.

Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University and a Master of Business Administration from Texas Christian University.

JD Mason

JD Mason is an accomplished oil and gas professional with a proven record of building highly skilled, cohesive teams and coordinating field operations. His multi-basin experience spans the Appalachian Basin (Marcellus and Utica), the Fort Worth Basin (Barnett), the Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi Salt Basin (Cotton Valley, Haynesville, Bossier and Tuscaloosa) and South Texas (Eagle Ford).

His experience covers production operations, facility design and construction, midstream construction and maintenance, well permitting, regulatory, measurement and production allocation, SCADA, and safety and environmental compliance. JD holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of North Texas.

Michael Feaga

Michael Feaga is an experienced engineer and team leader. With a career spanning operations and technical engineering, Michael has consistently optimized teams, processes, and projects to deliver measurable results and long-term value. Over the past 15 years, he has led global development and execution across heavy industrial and energy sectors, holding key roles such as Operations Manager at Legion Water Services (Avant Natural Resources subsidiary), Facilities Manager at Silverback Exploration, and Project Manager at Tito's. Earlier in his career, Michael served as Principal Engineer at Equinor, Statoil, and ExxonMobil, where he began as a field and materials engineer.

Michael holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University, where his graduate thesis focused on Materials Science.

Alex Griggs

Alex's career spans Fortune 100 management, high-growth startups, and everything in between. With a proven ability to unlock value for investors and scale organizations to their full potential, he brings a rare blend of strategic vision and operational discipline to every venture he touches.

Over the past 15 years, Alex has led global development and execution of heavy industrial and commercial real estate projects, asset management, and M&A initiatives. His project portfolio exceeds $2 billion in value, including work as a Global Project Manager at ExxonMobil and Griggs Capital Partners. Alex holds a B.A. from Purdue University and remains passionate about transforming bold concepts into enduring enterprises.

Zach Fellows

Zach Fellows is a proven oil and gas entrepreneur with 13 years of experience driving operational excellence and building top-tier teams. As employee #10 at a private start-up, he helped scale operations from 75 wells producing 750 BOE/d to more than 1,800 wells and 100,000 BOE/d, reaching roughly $5 billion in enterprise value and 282,000 net mineral acres before a successful exit.

He has managed $226 million in lease operating expenses and $72 million in workover programs, and helped acquire and integrate assets from more than 12 operators, including Apache, BP, BHP, Noble/Rosetta, Repsol and ConocoPhillips. His experience spans the Barnett, the Eagle Ford and the Bakken. Zach holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Montana Tech.
